HVNTER Interview

For the Stranger Danger project, my class was tasked with reaching out to designers we admire, and interviewing them for a magazine publication.

I chose HVNTER – an Australian designer I discovered through Instagram, whose work has been an influence on my own.

I talked to Hunter over email and got some great responses! I wanted to make a page layout that showed the sheer prolificacy of his output as a designer, and brought out the edge of his sleek graphic style. I went out and took street photography to create assets for the pages, weaving Hunter’s work into the signage and textures of the real world, like his type and iconography is leaking off the screen and the page, and is taking over the real world.
